Dear Reader,

Of course organic is organic and is certainly a hot topic at the moment. But biodynamic agriculture goes a step further; not only does it avoid artificial pesticides and fertilisers, but it also considers the earth to be a living organism – a viewpoint which we can certainly relate to. As a result, we decided to dedicate this issue of viaWALA to the topic of biodynamic cultivation in one’s own garden. We have included an interesting report about biological plant protection, which is still in its early stages but attracting more and more enthusiasts.

To commemorate the anniversary of Rudolf Steiner’s birth in 1861, we also journey in a special train to Steiner’s birthplace in what is now Croatia. Join us on this extraordinary trip infused with the vibrant spirit and work of Rudolf Steiner.

We hope you enjoy reading this issue!
